Lala Faces is a full-service beauty and esthetics studio founded by Lawanda “Lala” Sanyang, built on the belief that beauty is both transformative and deeply personal. What began as a passion for makeup artistry has grown into a holistic brand focused on skincare, makeup, waxing, and intentional self-care.
At Lala Faces, every service is designed to help clients look and feel their best, not just on the outside, but from within. This is a space where beauty meets purpose, and where self-care is treated as something meaningful, restorative, and empowering.
Founder Story
Meet Lawanda “Lala” Sanyang
Hi, I’m Lawanda, but most people call me Lala. I’m the founder and CEO of Lala Faces LLC, and the heart behind Lala Faces Beauty & Esthetics Studio.
My journey into the beauty industry began in 2015, when I discovered my love for makeup artistry. What started as a creative outlet quickly became a calling as I saw firsthand how makeup and skincare could build confidence and help people feel seen.
That passion led me to pursue formal training at Elevate Salon Institute in Durham, where I graduated in 2022. Through years of hands-on experience with clients and esthetics training, I began to notice a major gap in the industry: affordable luxury skincare and cosmetic options were hard to find.
This inspired me to create Lala Faces Cosmetics, a beauty line designed to help women of all backgrounds embrace and enhance their natural beauty. I later expanded the brand to include Lala Faces Skin and opened The Beauty Bar, creating a space where both men and women can access high-quality, affordable beauty services.
In October 2024, I was honored to serve as the makeup artist for former President Bill Clinton, a humbling and unforgettable experience that marked a milestone in my journey.
For Lawanda, skincare and beauty services are more than treatments; they’re moments of restoration. She views her work as a ministry to women, offering not only visible results, but also time, care, and presence in a world that rarely slows down.
